Neptune is approximately 180 degrees from the Sun, rising as the Sun is setting. We are now the closest we’ll be to Neptune this year!
The dark-blue, high-wind planet (at this time in the constellation Pisces) is very compelling. Although rather small due to its distance, its enormous size and unique color allow one to distinguish it from the stars.
The waning gibbous Moon and Saturn will be available also.
