Learn Your Telescope

This class is a hands-on introduction to the operations of your personal telescope. We’ll even take it outside for some practice with the waxing gibbous Moon. Also included will be an overview of all major sky events for the next twelve months. Up to four household members over the age of eight are encouraged to attend. Please bring all parts and accessories belonging to the telescope, including the eyepieces and instruction manual. This one-day course focuses specifically on telescopic views of the Baton Rouge sky.
